Brixton is a new “slider” concept offering a fun selection of burgers in a small-plate style.
Brixton is run by Helgi Svavar Helgason, Sigurður Gunnlaugsson, Róbert Aron Magnússon and Guðmundur Gunnarsson, and this experienced team has previously worked on numerous restaurants and major events.
Brixton is located at Tryggvagata 20 – directly across from the Reykjavik Art Museum.
The idea behind Brixton can be traced back to when Sigurður and Róbert lived in London, when they drew a lot of inspiration from all over London when it came to food and experiences. The name of the place is derived from one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in London – Brixton, Sw2 , where you can find Brixton Market, Pop Brixton, and many other great places.
The Brixton neighborhood offers a huge variety of music and food, so we are combining our experiences of London and Brixton into one. Diversity in food, music and atmosphere where everything is allowed.
